What your challenges will be

• Research, design, and fine tune AI models tailored to Anima’s product needs.
• Experiment with alignment, fine tuning and open source models.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy AI systems to production.
• Stay on top of emerging research and bring novel techniques into our stack.
• Help set technical direction for AI systems and drive best practices.
• Contribute to a strong AI foundation for scaling our capabilities.

What existing skills & experience you possess

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or applied data science.
• Excited about vibe-coding, claude-code, cursor, bolt, lovable, and updated with latest trends.
• Proficiency with Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Experience building, post training and/or fine tuning models.
• Strong understanding of model fine-tuning, evaluation, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with deploying AI systems to production environments, particularly in agentic workflows.
• Curiosity and creativity: you thrive in a research-oriented, experimental setting.

We also value

• Experience working with LLMs, diffusion models, or other generative AI techniques.
• Exposure to distributed training, MLOps, or scaling ML systems.
• Experience in a startup or fast-moving tech environment.
